Her ways of waking up the parents are more or less the same. Usually, after the early morning feeds, she would look up at me and smile. (I really love it when she smiles at me when nursing, with which I am bestowed almost all through the day!). If my eyes are still closed and she realizes that she would have to make an extra effort to wake up mom, the smile would be followed by a 'aye'!, then a second 'aye' and then another 'aye' until mom opens her groggy eyes, looks at her and smiles back. And this is what her catch is! Just open your eyes and make an eye contact - she would make sure that you are not able to close your eyes again! She would smile at you so sweetly that you would die out of guilt of not playing with her if you dare to close your eyes!!
The morning chit-chat and the enthusiastic echoes between baby and mom tempts dad to wake up and join the clutter. What else could be a better start for the day!
Here's a picture captured when Chinipie was practicing her early morning yoga :)
